Mr. Rajnish Kumar Thakur is a visionary finance and investment leader with deep expertise across hydropower, infrastructure, real estate, and manufacturing. A Chartered Accountant (CA) qualified in 2011 from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), he brings a disciplined, long-term approach to capital allocation and value creation.

With over seven years of hands-on leadership in Nepal’s hydropower sector, Mr. Thakur has been instrumental in structuring investments, managing construction-phase financing, overseeing costs, and evaluating long-term project viability. His experience spans the full investment lifecycle, enabling informed decision-making in complex, capital-intensive projects.

He also brings international exposure from the Middle East, where he worked in the real estate sector, gaining valuable insights into global investment standards, project feasibility, and financial management. His background in the cement and manufacturing industry further strengthens his understanding of industrial operations and scalable infrastructure development.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Thakur spent over three years in audit and assurance, building strong foundations in corporate governance, risk management, compliance, and financial transparency—principles that continue to guide his leadership philosophy.
